The Brooke-Alvinston and Watford Fall Fair Ambassador Program started in 2011 and has been thriving ever since.
So what is an Ambassador? Our Ambassador represents our Fair, Agricultural Society and the local communities of Brooke-Alvinston & Warwick Township. He/She participates in many fun events throughout the year including Fair weekend, Christmas parades and Canada Day to name a few.
Our Ambassador promotes our Fair while attending events. He/she speaks to students at our local schools in the spring and teaches little ones about growing a garden and distributes pumpkin seeds that they can grow for the fair.
The Ambassador Program provides travel opportunities to meet other Ambassadors from across the province and participate in life-building workshops. All expenses paid trips to Toronto for Convention and CNE are among the highlights.
No experience in agriculture is required as being an ambassador is also about learning and growing as an individual. The ambassador committee members are here to answer questions and help guide throughout the year to ensure our Ambassador has the best experience.
Our Ambassador Competition is held every August and involves an interview and speech presentation.
